Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already landed several television roles, for instance, the lead in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Her critically acclaimed role in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like the role of the secretary of Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the commercially and critically popular Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the diva. Alexandra worked on several important international and national projects throughout her career. One of these is the British biographical film Control, the Greek drama film The Dust of Time, and the French historic miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she was part of both the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
