Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director most well-known as the main character of Birdman. Michael Keaton plays an actor who has diverse talents. Alongside characters with romantic appeal, he played in action films as well as thrillers. He began to take an interest in performing and acting when he was in his teens and attempted stand-up comedy while a young man. While his stand-up comedy did not go well, it helped to open the way for his acting. To be successful as a comic and performer, he was hired as a cameraman at the local cable TV station. He realized his real love was behind the camera while he worked there. After that, he was offered a TV part, playing many shows on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. His natural talent as an actor made him popular in the world of television. He had great goals, and made a move into film and was a household name in comedy parts. His fame grew for his portrayal of the famous superhero in Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, his acting skills improved and he began to explore production and directing.
